Tupi Paulista Women’s Penitentiary donates handicrafts to HRCPP

For the second time, the Presidente Prudente Regional Cancer Hospital (HRCPP) received a donation of 86 caps made by women who are in the semi-open regime of the Tupi Paulista Women’s Penitentiary.

The materials were delivered by Adriana Alkmin, director of the prison unit, and received by Maria Assunção Guedes, mastologist at the HRCPP and mediator in the contact between the penitentiary and the hospital, and Mayara Moraes, representative of the oncology unit.

Entitled “Project for the Professional Qualification of Women Prisoners of the Tupi Paulista Women’s Penitentiary - Polvo do Amor”, the social action was developed by the Penitentiary with the Judiciary.
