More than 150 Unoeste students participate in a joint effort and donate hair to HRCPP

More than 150 students participated in a Solidarity Trot, organized by the Aesthetics and Cosmetics course of the Universidade do Oeste Paulista (Unoeste), with the purpose of collecting donations of hair for the Hospital Regional do Câncer de Presidente Prudente (HRCPP).

The donation was given by the teachers of the course, Joandele Barcelos and Rosângela Cristófam Ferreira - teacher in charge of the extension projects. According to Joandele, the action will continue.

“We decided that every beginning of the semester we will carry out this solidarity trot with the intention of contributing to the happiness of patients with cancer,” said the teacher.

Amor em Mechas

The institute Amor em Mechas was created in 2017 by Débora Pieretti, who was diagnosed with breast cancer when she underwent routine exams. Thus, the institute emphasizes providing emotional health for women who are undergoing cancer treatments.
