HRCPP calls for support from councilors and deputies of Presidente Prudente and region

The Hospital Regional do Câncer de Presidente Prudente (HRCPP) is working and serves more than 350 people a day for free and to fully function and transform Presidente Prudente (SP) into one of the country’s leading oncology centers requires accreditation through the Unified Health System (SUS).
The statement was repeated this week by the new HRCPP president, Francelino Magalhães, in meetings with municipal authorities. Since taking office earlier this month, he and his board members have already met with mayor of Presidente Prudente (SP), Nelson Bugalho, with deputies Ed Thomas and Mauro Bragato and with the city council members.
“We want everyone to know the benefits that the HRCPP already offers the population, but that can increase a lot, with the accreditation of SUS, and we are asking for the help of everyone in this fight,” said Magalhães.
On Monday morning (14), the president of the HRCPP and an entourage of directors were in the office of state deputy Mauro Bragato. “Bragato’s support has been significant throughout the history of the hospital and now, more than ever, we need your commitment in this fight to gain accreditation with SUS,” he explained.
On Monday afternoon, the entourage was welcomed by the new mayor, Demerson Dias and the city councilmen. “We want to thank each of the 13 councilors, especially for the amendment that allocated R $ 387,380 to the HRCPP,” said the president.
On the morning of Tuesday (15), the HRCPP directors met with Deputy Ed Thomas. The president of the HRCPP informed the deputy that the hospital has already started the procedures for purchase of the equipment of the Diagnostic and Image Center, thanks to the resources released by the former governor of the state of São Paulo, Márcio França. “We appreciate your commitment to releasing these resources,” Magalhães said.
