HRCPP is accredited to the Single Health System

Official ceremony took place this afternoon (18th), with the presence of authorities and representatives from the institution

The official announcement of the accreditation of the Presidente Prudente Regional Cancer Hospital (HRCPP) - the Hospital of Hope - as a High Complexity Oncology Care Unit (Unacon) was made this afternoon (18th).

The officialization was made yesterday morning (17) through the publication of Decree 690 of the Ministry of Health in the Official Gazette of the Union (DOU). The achievement had been announced on Wednesday morning (16), by the Health Minister, Marcelo Queiroga, during a meeting in Brasília with the mayor of Presidente Prudente, Ed Thomas.

This is an important achievement for the region, since the hospital already provides practically all the services, because to get the SUS accreditation, it was necessary to already be providing services required by the Ministry of Health’s norms. Therefore, with the accreditation, the hospital is now fully able to meet other demands from the Ministry of Health and increase its services.

Therefore, the HRCPP thanks everyone involved in this fight that, through solidarity acts, made this very important achievement for the region possible. Above all, the hospital cited the actions of the president of the republic, Jair Messias Bolsonaro, the national secretary of Land Issues, Luiz Antônio Nabhan Garcia, the state deputy, Mauro Bragato, the mayor of Presidente Prudente, Ed Thomas, the city council of Presidente Prudente, the creators of the institution the Regional Health Department XI, the Agribusiness Commission, represented by businessman Osmar Capuci, the hospital’s management body, the collaborators who work daily in the fight against cancer, and especially the society, which never stopped believing in this great work in Presidente Prudente.
