HRCPP Engineering Team seeks update through participation in hospital fairs

The Engineering team of the Regional Cancer Hospital of Presidente Prudente (HRCPP) participated in two important fairs in the last semester: Hospitalar 2019 and Jornada Paulista de Radiologia 2019 (JPR 2019) - 49th edition.
According to Patrícia Storto, HRCPP’s engineering manager, the main objective in the participation of these fairs is to update the team with regard to the best performance hospital equipment. “We still have to buy a few equipment and participation in these events helps us make the best decision for the population,” Patricia said.

Under the theme “Celebrating International Relations”, the 49th JPR opened with the address of Dr. Carlos Homsi, president of the Paulista Society of Radiology (SPR). which brought to the plenary the news that JPR 2019 brings to the congressmen and SPR members in the edition. “We have brought unprecedented, complex and interesting initiatives, such as the Village of Ultrassom, inspired by the French Journey,” commented the president. “It’s a space with hands-on lessons and demonstration equipment,” Homsi explained.
In addition to the Ultrassom Village, “Innovation Village” also brought new innovations, which included “presentations selected by the merits of exhibiting companies, startups, research centers in the area and radiologists on advances in technology and medicine” .
Another novelty this year was the formalization of the Day of Interventional Radiology, which takes place in sessions in the rooms some years ago and now has its own edition.
“These and other activities are the effort of hundreds of people to do the best for Brazilian radiology,” concluded the president, who ended his speech with the numbers of JPR 2019 - 683 Brazilian teachers, 60 foreign teachers, in more than a thousand classes .

Hospitalar connects the market and brings together buyers and suppliers of the sector, promoting networking and partnerships, reaffirming its performance as an efficient platform that generates business and industry development.
