HRCPP directors visit mayor and renew partnership with municipality

Felicio Sylla, president of the Regional Cancer Hospital of Presidente Prudente (HRCPP), met with the city’s mayor, Ed Thomas, yesterday morning (1) for the first time since taking office as president of the Foundation in January this year.

The president was accompanied by the HRCPP directors: Alexandre Seabra, Jorge Guazzi, and Leandro Zaupa.
Sylla pointed out that he already had the support of Ed Thomas, as a state deputy, during his tenure as president of the Casa do Aprendiz Cidadão. Now, the president has the support of the mayor also in the hospital.

Sylla talked about her goals ahead of the HRCPP and the plans for expanding services, which currently exceed 5,000 per month. In addition, he spoke about the need for HRCPP’s full accreditation to the Unified Health System (SUS).

Mayor Ed Tomas thanked the visit, reinforced the local and regional importance of the hospital that today is a reference in Oncology and guaranteed that in his administration the HRCPP will have all possible support.
