HRCPP employees participate in training offered by HR and Unoeste

Yesterday afternoon (1), the healthcare staff of the Hospital Regional do Câncer de Presidente Prudente (HRCPP) participated in a training session guided by the residents of the Presidente Prudente Regional Hospital (represented by Professor Ana Paula Brambilo - coordinator of the team of residents of the HR), by the Multiprofessional Team of the Universidade do Oeste Paulista (Unoeste) and by the nurse of Continuing Education of the HRCPP, Ivone Santana Nascimento.
The training consisted in recycling and qualifying the employees at the moment of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and patient intubation. On the occasion, the professionals learned how to recognize the patient’s collapse to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation, assist in the preparation of material for intubation of the patient, perform CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) maneuvers with quality, without injuring the patient, besides knowing the exact posture the professional should stay in to perform the resuscitation, avoiding any kind of injury to the patient and contributing to his prognosis.
