Help the HRCPP to spread hope

The Hospital Regional do Câncer de Presidente Prudente (HRCPP) launched an online chip to help in the fundraising of the institution and continue the care of patients from all over the region. With the appeal “help us to spread hope”, the institution seeks financial support for the purchase of inputs, medicines and basic equipment.
According to the HRCPP, with the pandemic of the new coronavirus (COVID-19), the charity events were postponed, or even canceled, which resulted in a decrease in the institution’s fundraising. The aim of the kitty is to raise 300 thousand reais for the institution.
“Our goal is to mobilize partners (institutions, agribusiness, support commissions and other initiatives) with the community in general so that the services can continue,” explained the hospital.
The institution also explains that the HRCPP structure allows the assistance of the entire population of the Regional Health Department XI (DRS 11), composed of 45 municipalities, as well as patients from northern Paraná and southern Mato Grosso do Sul, covering up to 2 millons of citizens.
“This campaign is extremely important for cancer patients to continue to benefit, since procedures such as a preventive clinic, consultations, surgeries and hospitalizations are funded with donations”, he concludes.
